We present you Psychedelic Rock Drum loops!

Over a year in the making, it's finally released!

A colorful collection of trippy, real drum loops inspired by the swirling rhythms of Tame Impala, Pond, Melody’s Echo Chamber, and the heavy-hitting swagger of Led Zeppelin.

Calling these loops is an understatement! These are 15 drum tracks played for 3 to 4 minutes each, with amazing beats, grooves, and fills! All in the style of the bands above!

This is the only drum loop library in the world with this playing style and sound!

We included 3 distinctive and psychedelic, fully produced drum sounds: a blown-out and compressed sound, a tastefully saturated sound, and something in between Untamed Drum sound, along with raw multitracks of every microphone we used, plus one shots!

The Kit Behind the Sound:
This library was recorded using a vintage 1970s Ludwig Super Classic drum kit with a '60s Ludwig Supraphonic snare, the same kind of setup that powered countless classic rock records. Warm, resonant, and full of character, this kit delivers that unmistakable vintage thump and lively room tone.

Paired with a selection of vintage Zildjian and Paiste cymbals, the sound is crisp, washy, and perfectly imperfect — from shimmering crashes to smoky rides that decay just right!

Microphone Chain & Recording Setup
This psychedelic drum loop library wasn’t just played with vibe — it was captured through a dream team of vintage and boutique mics and preamps, each chosen for their unique color and character:

• Kit Mic:
  • Stereo AEA R84 — rich-sounding ribbon mic used for that earthy, low-mid punch.
• Kick mics:
• Sennheiser MD441 and AEA R84!
• Overheads:
  • Mono Vintage AKG D19 — The Beatles’ go-to mic, bringing raw, gritty energy to the cymbals and transients.
  • Stereo Neumann U87s — Wide, lush, and detailed, adding hi-fi clarity and depth to the kit image.
• Snare:
  • Neumann KM184 (Bottom and side) — Crisp and snappy articulation on ghost notes and rolls.
  • Sennheiser MD421 (Side) — Full-bodied, midrange-rich tone that adds thickness and punch.
• Sennheiser MD441 (top) — Full-bodied, almost condenser-like tone!
• Room Mics:
  • Stereo Sony C38B — Smooth and vibey with gorgeous bloom!
  • Stereo Electro-Voice 635A — Lo-fi charm meets open-room realism; gritty and raw in the best way.
• Toms:
• Sennheiser MD421
  
• Bunch of Neve and API preamps for awesome vintage vibe and punch!
• Captured with DAD converters and later processed with Revox B77 tape!
• Further processing done for produced sounds including: Dbx 165a compressor, Shure SE-30, UREI 546 EQ, Looptrotter Saturator, CAPI API style EQ, Pultec tube EQ, Chandler TG2, Chandler RS124 and bunch more!
